This Rensie clock dates to the late 40s/early fifties when manufacturers were still using the term US Zone on manufactured products, and that term can be seen on the face on the lower right.
This watch does wind and works, but was fairly corroded. I've cleaned the majority of it off (as can be seen on the top), as well I took it apart and freshly washed the faceplate. The numbers on the watch were hand-painted with a glow in the dark substance, which may be radioactive- I do not have the mechanisms to test for what exactly type of paint was used.
A little bit of that corrosion can still be seen on the feet and on the back. Please remember that vintage items have had a life before & they will show that wear upon them. I did not do any work on the internal mechanisms as I am not trained in that, but as of right now it is in a working condition meaning that it winds and keeps time.
